Education Programming

WCT Kids is an educational program open to anybody aged 8-12 who wants to learn and experience theatre, no auditions are required! Professional workshops will build or enhance a foundational knowledge in theatre.

WCT Teens is an educational program open to anybody aged 13-17 who wants to learn and experience theatre. Professional workshops will develop and enhance a well-rounded knowledge of theatre. 

WCT Teens Drama Intensive is an educational and drama intensive aimed at experienced 14 to 17-year-olds who are interested in refining their craft with a small group of like-minded individuals. WCT Teens Drama Intensive will run under the direction of Geoffrey Coulter, a seasoned actor, director, and arts educator. Participants will learn acting skills and techniques while simultaneously preparing a culminating performance for family and friends. To provide individualized attention and foster a close-knit learning environment, we offer only a limited number of spots. This ensures that each participant can fully benefit from the program's intensive and focused approach. Please ensure that you can commit to the dates of the workshops and the evening performance as regular attendance from all participants will be important to the program. 

Whitby Courthouse Theatre's Young Performers Production is the fourth show of our regular season, produced in June. 

Anybody age 8-17 is able to audition.
Participation in WCT Kids or WCT Teens is not required to audition for this produciton.
