Duties

This policy serves as an addendum to all job descriptions.

The Chair of the Board and member of the Executive and signing officer of the corporation responsible for but not limited to the liaison to the Town of Whitby, legal binding contracts and licenses. They are the direct report of the Office, Network, and Information Technology Coordinators.

A member of the Executive who assumes the responsibilities of the President in their absence. They are responsible for the strategic plan, community relations and outreach. 

A member of the Executive, a Signing Officer for the corporation and holds the role of Privacy Officer. Responsible for all accounts receivable and payable, corporate payroll, bookkeeping, and Government filings.

A member of the Executive and Signing Officer for the corporation, responsible for recording minutes, communicating meeting agendas and correspondence to the Board.

A member of the Executive responsible for productions, and the liaison between producers and the Board. They are the direct report of the Technical, Properties, Wardrobe, and Workshop Coordinators.

Responsible for the artistic vision in conjunction with the Board of Directors.

Responsible for overseeing educational progamming and liasing between educators, participants, and the Board of Directors.

Responsible for coordinating front of house activities including but not limited to volunteers, patrons’ services, concession purchasing/inventory and finance tracking/reporting.

The direct contact for media inquiries, plans and oversees media strategies and works with the Information Technology Coordinator, in creating social media and eBlasts campaigns.

Main duties include the processing of season subscriptions and operating the box office during productions.
They report to the Front of House Director.

Main duties include keeping the website up-to-date, ensuring the Marketing & Promotions Director has the tools necessary for social media campaigns, and maintain the corporate email system.
They report to the President.

The primary function for the position is to maintain the network in working order, and respond to requests for modification or maintenance of networking.

Various office duties including but not limited to responding to phone calls and emails, keeping the office space and tidy, general and archival filing.
They report to the President.

Maintains the props room, responsible for prop rental requests, and assists productions as required.
They report to the Executive Producer.

Maintains the tech room and booth, responsible for rental permits, and assists productions as required.
They report to the Executive Producer.

Maintains the wardrobe room, responsible for wardrobe rental requests, and assists and assists productions as required.
They report to the Executive Producer.

Maintains the workshop and tool room, responsible for keeping tools in working order, and assists and assists productions as required.
They report to the Executive Producer.
