After the tremendous success of our sold-out inaugural program last July, we’re back for another summer of creativity, excitement, and unforgettable performances.
Our program offers young artists the chance to shine on stage and grow in confidence and skill.

Cost: $500/Session
Session 1: Monday to Friday July 7th - July 18th 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Performance for family and friends: July 18th
Session 2: Monday to Friday July 21st - August 1st 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

We are seeking enthusiastic, organized, and passionate individuals with experience in youth education and either acting/stage work, music (singing, piano) and/or dance (including choreography) for a summer job opportunity with Whitby Courthouse Theatre.
This 2-week program runs for two sessions: July 7 - 18, and July 21 - August 1, and works towards mounting a full production of a 60-minute musical. Successful applicants will work as either Director, Music Director or Choreographer to plan and lead rehearsals, and work with the rest of the creative team to create and organize daily activities for participants. They will also be responsible for teaching fundamental skills, and fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for our young performers. Sessions are subject to sufficient enrollment and may be adjusted or canceled as needed.

Requirements:
Experience in singing/piano, dance/choreography and/or acting/stagecraft.
Experience in working with youth
Ability to lead rehearsals and work effectively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with youth and helping them explore their creative potential.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the program.
