Accessibility

Whitby Courthouse Theatre follows the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act standards. As a provider of goods and services, Whitby Courthouse Theatre will:

• Provide Board Members, Coordinators, employees and volunteers access to AODA resources, through online tutorials and handouts.
• Record the date new Board Members, Coordinators, employees and volunteers were provided access to AODA resources.

The following resources and or online training are required:

• Board Members and Coordinators are required to take the online training (aoda.ca/free-online-training) within three months of taking on their position.
• Any patron-facing volunteer is required to review the accessibility information brochure provided to them by their supervisor and is encouraged to engage in ongoing discussion about accessibility.
